Li Chenggang, China's international trade representative with the Ministry of Commerce and vice minister of commerce, stressed that the outcomes of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultations are hard-won. He said the U.S. side should not, on the one hand, ask China to accommodate its concerns while, on the other hand, continue to suppress Chinese companies.
