Abdusalam, a 24-year-old Uyghur in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, lives by the belief: "Do what you love and stick with it." He has a career he is passionate about and is a well-known parkour enthusiast. In Kashi, the city's low walls and flat rooftops have become his stage of freedom. Running, leaping, rolling—each movement shows his dedication. He says he will keep running until he can no longer move. Even when injured and in a cast, he keeps practicing parkour. "I'm just being myself," Abdusalam insists.
