Gaza's hospitals are facing a catastrophic reality, with the near-total collapse of the health system overwhelmed by the large number of casualties arriving daily due to Israel's ongoing bombing of homes and residential towers. This unprecedented pressure is compounded by Israeli evacuation orders aimed at emptying Gaza City of its residents and vital service institutions. Doctors and nurses, however, have refused to abandon their patients. Their stance is echoed by the World Health Organization, which has also decided to remain in Gaza City despite the evacuation orders, expressing deep concern over the forced displacement.
