At the second Public Security Tech Expo in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, east China, exhibitors showcased cutting-edge fabric technologies and portable public safety equipment to enhance operation efficiency and safety.

Among the highlights were new flame-retardant materials capable of withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Celsius without deformation, as well to nano-membrane fabrics that are waterproof, windproof while remaining breathable. Also featured was a foldable police dog kennel that can be quickly unfolded into a sturdy structure within minutes, supporting up to 200 kilograms and facilitating rapid deployment of mobile command units.

Follow CGTN's Guo Meiping for a closer look at how these innovative materials are engineered to protect those who protect us.
