Thousands of Palestinians are being forced to flee south as Israel intensifies its offensive in Gaza City. The al-Rashid Street, one of the two routes designated by the Israeli military for civilian evacuation, is crowded with cars and trucks carrying furniture, mattresses and hastily packed belongings.
