China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) are neighbors that cannot be separated, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reaffirmed during a meeting with his ROK counterpart in Beijing on Wednesday,

Wang said both sides should firmly follow the direction of good-neighbor friendship, and adhere to the goal of mutual benefit and win-win results, so as to become genuine strategic cooperative partners. 

ROK Foreign Minister Cho Hyun said the ROK attaches great significance to its relations with China, and will further deepen exchanges with China through the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting, which is scheduled to be held in the ROK in late October.
