The People's Liberation Army's military display on September 3 laid the foundation for world peace, said Zhu Qichao, a military expert of PLA National University of Defense Technology. Senior Colonel Zhu made the remarks on Thursday in an exclusive interview with CGTN on the sidelines of the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum. China's policy is defensive in response to potential aggression and external threats, Zhu said.
