China's one-step fracturing solution in oil tech boosts efficiency

On September 19, an intelligent integrated fracturing solution for unconventional oil and gas extraction was launched by Chinese company Honghua Group in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province.

This solution streamlines the 33 operational steps in traditional fracturing processes into a single step. This greatly reduces the manual workload by up to 90 percent, cutting equipment costs by more than 50 percent, boosting construction efficiency by 15 percent, and reducing carbon emissions by approximately 92 percent at the same time.

The solution is applicable to operations in various reservoir types, including shale gas, shale oil, and coalbed methane, and adaptable to diverse working conditions such as high-temperature, extreme cold and high-pressure environments.
