The China Meteorological Administration said Friday that its Fengyun-3 weather satellites have been monitoring the gradual disintegration of A23a, the world's largest iceberg. Located in the Weddell Sea off Antarctica, the massive ice block has lost about 60 percent of its size since early 2025. Scientists warn that the continued melting of A23a underscores the rapid pace of climate change and its impact on global sea levels.
