A white paper titled "China's Achievements in Women's Well-Rounded Development in the New Era" was released on September 19 by the State Council Information Office.
The white paper was released ahead of the 2025 Global Leaders' Meeting on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, scheduled to take place in Beijing.
According to the white paper, China's maternal and child health service system has been continuously improved. China has integrated maternal and child health services into its nationwide healthcare network that covers 1.4 billion people.
