Russian tourists arriving in China have expressed their excitement and appreciation for the country's new visa-free entry policy for Russian citizens.

China has expanded its visa-exemption program to include Russia. From September 2025 to September 2026, Russian citizens with ordinary passports may enter China without a visa for stays of up to 30 days. The policy covers visits for business, tourism, family reunions, cultural exchanges or transit.
