China is celebrating the eighth Chinese farmers' harvest festival on Tuesday, with 58 major events held nationwide to commemorate bumper crops, rural traditions and achievements of agricultural modernization, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The country's grain output has remained stable at over 650 million tonnes for 10 consecutive years, and exceeded 700 million tonnes for the first time last year.
