Today is the 8th Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival. This year’s main event lands in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong – the nation’s top agricultural powerhouse.
Shandong has achieved a grain output of over 55 million metric tons for three consecutive years, driven by expanded fields and higher yields. This year’s autumn grain harvest is already secured with golden fields blanketing the province as farmers celebrate another bumper season.
