China's Guangdong, Hainan and Fujian provinces have activated emergency responses as Super Typhoon Ragasa approaches.

Ragasa, the 18th storm of the season, intensified into a super typhoon on Sunday and is forecast to make landfall between Huizhou in Guangdong and Wenchang in Hainan on Wednesday.
