China announced on Tuesday that it will not pursue any new special and differential treatment in ongoing and future World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations.
"This is an important policy statement that reflects both domestic and international considerations," said Li Chenggang, China's international trade representative with the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and vice minister of commerce, during a press briefing on Wednesday in Beijing.
