The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has sent condolences to the victims of Super Typhoon Ragasa in the Taiwan region and expressed the hope that affected Taiwan compatriots will be able to return to normalcy as soon as possible. Typhoon Ragasa left 14 dead and 18 injured in Taiwan as of 6 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the local authorities.
