Dunhuang Cultural Week lights up Regent's University with exchanges

The Dunhuang Cultural Week: Dunhuang Meets London opened on September 20 at Regent's University in London, the United Kingdom, showcasing the art and heritage of China's Dunhuang through a dynamic blend of tradition and technology.  

Hosted by the Dunhuang Academy, and co-organized by Guangan Lumverse and BITDB Design, the event features high-fidelity mural replicas and immersive digital installations, such as the "Dunhuang Landscape View." There are also interactive experiences, including AI-generated "Dream of Dunhuang" portraits, digital mural paintings, and multilayer seal stamping. With cultural lectures, sensory workshops, and art salons running until September 22, the initiative's aim is to engage with British audiences – especially young people – in the spirit of cross-cultural exchange to present Dunhuang's rich legacy in an accessible and innovative way and strengthen cultural ties between China and the UK.
