Super Typhoon Ragasa has left at least 14 dead and dozens injured in China's Taiwan region, local authorities said on Wednesday morning. More than 100 people are still missing, according to the local emergency operation center.

The typhoon's outer circulation continues to batter Taiwan region's eastern, northern and southern coastal areas, bringing heavy rainfall. On Tuesday afternoon, a dam at a barrier lake in Hualien County overflowed, triggering flooding.
