Located on the Liuzhi-Anlong Expressway in southwest China's Guizhou Province, the bridge stretches 2,890 meters in total length, with a main span of 1,420 meters and a height of 625 meters above the water. Its record-breaking span and towering height make it the world's longest and tallest bridge in a mountainous region.

Construction began in early 2022, and engineers have overcome the natural barrier of the Huajiang Grand Canyon. Using the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, drones, BIM modeling, intelligent monitoring, ultra-high-strength materials and innovative construction techniques, the team achieved millimeter-level precision while working hundreds of meters above the canyon floor. What was once an impassable chasm is now set to become a major transportation route.

Once in operation, the bridge will cut travel time across the canyon from two hours to just two minutes, dramatically improving connectivity in the region.
