On September 22, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for intensified efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals at the SDG Moment event held during the High-Level Week of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly at UN headquarters. UN Under-Secretary-General Li Junhua pointed out that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has been in place for a decade and faces many challenges. However, he noted that in the recently adopted Sevilla Commitment, member states stressed the need to inject more resources and support into sustainable development.
