On September 22, Gaza's authorities said more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 166,000 injured in Israel's strikes and bombardments since October 2023. Humanitarian organizations say safety and aid continue to elude desperate Palestinians. So-called safe-zones have been bombed and aid distribution centers have become scenes of chaos and death.
