Kedar Parsad Pathak, the president of the Nepal International Film Festival Association, has emphasized the role of cinema as a powerful medium for strengthening ties between Nepal and China.  

Pathak noted the profound cultural diversity shared by both nations. He stated that "culture connects people and countries," and expressed his belief that films can significantly deepen this existing bond. He affirmed that his presence at the forum and the festival's ongoing efforts are dedicated to using the medium of film to foster a closer relationship between the peoples of the two nations.
