Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, led a central delegation as he arrived in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Tuesday to attend events marking the region's 70th founding anniversary.
