The Typhoon Ragasa made landfall in Guangdong Province, South China. Yangjiang, a coastal city in western Guangdong, was among the first mainland areas to be affected. Zheng Songwu visited the local fire department and a temporary shelter on Wednesday before the landfall to report on the preparations and response.
