At the 12th Silk Road International Film Festival, Evans Ongor Mac'Osewe of the Kenya Film Commission shared his vision with CGTN's Zhang Meng. "At the end of the day, quality is what dictates how far your movie can go," he stated. "If we produce good quality, we will not be surprised to see our movies in the Oscars."
Mac'Osewe also expressed gratitude for the invitation: "I must thank the organizing committee for extending that rare opportunity to Kenya. The experience has been amazing." He highlighted Kenya's film advantages, including diverse locations and content creation for nearly 200 million Swahili-speaking audiences.
The commissioner emphasized Kenya's dedication to quality filmmaking and international collaboration, seeing the festival as a vital platform for global exposure.
