Leshan Giant Buddha through the eyes of global influencers
Over 30 international influencers and Gen Z youth visited the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday.
Carved into a cliff-side over 1,300 years ago, the Leshan Giant Buddha is the world's largest stone-carved seated statue of Maitreya Buddha.
"This is my first time in Leshan, and the grandeur of the Giant Buddha has far exceeded my expectations. I'm rarely this impressed when traveling, but this place truly surprised me. I love the atmosphere here – the Leshan Giant Buddha is an exceptional tourist destination," said Petr Vojvodík, an influencer from the Czech Republic.
