The 2025 China International Confucius Cultural Festival is being held in Qufu, east China's Shandong Province, from September 27 to 28, marking the 2,576th anniversary of Confucius' birth.
As part of the celebrations, the Confucius Museum hosted a book collectors fair, highlighting efforts to preserve ancient books – one of China's most treasured cultural legacies.
Two exhibitions also debuted: a special display of rare ancient texts from the Tang, Song and Yuan dynasties, and an exhibition of ex-libris artworks. Featuring more than 100 works from across the country, the displays offered visitors an immersive journey into Confucian thought and traditional Chinese culture.
