Any initiative advancing the United Nations and multilateralism is welcome, said Siddharth Chatterjee, the UN resident coordinator in China in a one-on-one conversation with CGTN's Tian Wei. Since its launch in 2021, the Global Development Initiative has shown great potential in pushing for the UN sustainable development goals. He also urged more member states to actively support the initiative and push it forward together.
