Several hundred people protested outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in Portland on Sunday, following President Donald Trump's announcement of the deployment of National Guard troops to the city. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered 200 Oregon National Guard members to be deployed under federal authority, while the state filed a lawsuit to challenge the move.
