The deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Lesotho says the China-proposed Global Governance Initiative (GGI) offers new hope to nations often sidelined in major international affairs.

In an exclusive interview with Xu Yawen, Tsepang Ts'ita-Mosena said the GGI promotes a global order where all nations, large or small, can participate in global decision-making.

She highlighted Lesotho's long-standing ties with China in health, education and infrastructure, and called for deeper cooperation to drive economic growth and reduce unemployment.
