China says it supports all efforts conducive to easing Palestinian-Israeli tension

China endorses and encourages all efforts that help ease tensions between Palestine and Israel, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on Tuesday.

Guo made the remarks during a regular press briefing when asked to comment on a plan proposed by the Trump administration aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza.

Guo stated that China urges all relevant parties to sincerely implement the relevant UN resolutions, immediately achieve a full ceasefire in Gaza, release all detained individuals, and quickly alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region.

China advocates adhering to the principle of "Palestinians governing Palestine," promotes the implementation of the two-state solution, and is willing to work with the international community to make ongoing efforts for an early, comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue, he said.
