An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.7 shook Cebu province in central Philippines on Tuesday evening, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The institute reported that the quake, which occurred at 9:59 p.m. local time, struck at a depth of 10 km, about 17 km northeast of Bogo City.
