The Israeli Navy intercepted a flotilla of 42 boats attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza on Wednesday evening. Hundreds of activists from around the world were detained during the operation. Residents in Gaza said the interception was meant to conceal the truth from the world, stressing their hope that the ships would reach Gaza and help break Israel's ongoing blockade.
