Luxembourg's Guillaume was on Friday enthroned as the European country's new Grand Duke and head of state, after his father, Henri, officially abdicated.

Wearing a green military uniform topped by a yellow sash, Guillaume, 43, took the oath of service during a swearing-in ceremony at the parliament in the capital.
