Located in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the Long Lake in Jiuzhaigou is the highest-altitude and longest lake in the scenic area. It is also the source of the Jiuzhaigou water system. There is a cypress tree on the bank of the Long Lake with a distinctive shape, the branches and leaves are rich and abundant on one side, but the trunk is bare on the other. It is known locally as the cypress that resembles a one-armed old man.
