Pumpkin art exhibition draws visitors in Urumqi

During China's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, the Shirenzigou scenic area in Urumqi, Xinjiang hosted the 3rd Pumpkin Art Exhibition, offering visitors a seasonal retreat that blends art appreciation, family-friendly activities and science education.

The highlight of this year's event was the "Pumpkin Fairy-Tale Castle" built entirely from real pumpkins, accompanied by themed installations such as pumpkin carriages and cartoon pumpkin figures, creating an immersive fairy-tale landscape.

The farm also set up a Pumpkin Museum, showcasing more than a dozen varieties of pumpkins, combining visual appeal with educational value. The exhibition runs until October 8.
