As the 76th International Astronautical Congress concluded on October 3 in Sydney, the global space community is already looking forward to reuniting at next year's IAC 2026 in Türkiye.
CGTN's Wu Lei spoke to Yusuf Kırac, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Space Agency, who said IAC 2026 will welcome all space experts, engineers and fans to the beautiful city of Antalya.
Kırac also confirmed to CGTN that one of its exploration rovers will journey to the lunar surface aboard China's Chang'e-8 mission.
Emphasizing Türkiye's long-standing collaboration with China and global partners, he added that the country is actively engaging its universities and research institutes in lunar exploration and other space missions through joint projects and training programs.
