The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China, and a key time for families to reunite, admire the bright moon and share delicious food. A CGTN stringer in South Korea invited locals to randomly select different flavors of mooncakes and taste them. He captured their reactions and evaluations at first bite and asked them to share their understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
One resident, Lee Il-ho, said he knows that in China, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a day for travel, family reunions and enjoying mooncakes, and that a big gala is broadcast on TV to celebrate the occasion.
