A rich variety of films with different themes were screened during this year's holiday, which lasts from October 1 to 8, offering moviegoers more options. As of October 7, the total box office revenue has surpassed 1.6 billion yuan ($225 million) for the holiday, including pre-sales.

Impressed by the scenes in movies such as "The Volunteers: Peace at Last" and "A Writer's Odyssey Ⅱ," many people chose to see with their own eyes the filming locations by high-speed train.
Adding to the momentum of this new trend, a series of promotional videos titled "Travel with Films" have been broadcast at railway stations and aboard high-speed trains around the country.
