The grand Munao Zongge Festival took place in Longchuan County, southwest China’s Yunnan Province. Literally meaning "dancing together," Munao Zongge is the largest song-and-dance celebration of the Jingpo people – a spectacular blend of music, ritual, rhythm, and color. Their flowing dance patterns symbolize migration, unity, and prayers for blessings. Today, the festival stands as both a living tradition and a proud symbol of the Jingpo ethnic group. Listed as a national intangible cultural heritage of China, Munao Zongge continues to bring communities together while sharing the beauty of Jingpo culture with the world.
