The agreement is set to go before the Israeli cabinet on Thursday, according to a senior White House official.

Should the cabinet approve it, Israel would withdraw its forces from Gaza to a designated line, likely within 24 hours.

According to reports, the formal agreement is scheduled to be signed in Egypt at noon local time on Thursday.
