A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is now in effect, with initial phases being implemented on the ground. CGTN correspondents report from both fronts:
From Gaza, Rami Almeghari confirms the ceasefire is holding as displaced Palestinians begin returning home via routes opened by Israel. A hostage-prisoner exchange and aid delivery are expected in coming days.
