A new international air route connecting Sanya City in south China's Hainan Province with Minsk, the capital of Belarus, was launched on Wednesday, marking the first direct flight between the two cities.

Sanya, a beachfront city in Hainan, currently has air routes linking it to 27 international cities. This new route is serviced by Belavia, Belarus' national airline.
