Two China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels – Haimen and Yangshan – have completed a patrol mission to enforce fisheries law on the high seas of the North Pacific Ocean and returned to port on Friday. This marks the CCG’s 10th such mission in the region.
During the 31-day patrol, the ships covered more than 17,500 nautical miles and spent 1,409 hours at sea. They monitored 69 fishing vessels and boarded 10 for inspection, helping safeguard order in North Pacific fisheries.
