Recent, rare and prolonged rainfall across northern China has swollen rivers and triggered flood risks in several regions. On the outskirts of Xinzhou City in Shanxi Province, a couple and their more than 100 sheep were trapped in rising waters. Firefighters raced against time to reach them. After nearly two hours of intense effort, everyone, humans and sheep alike, made it to safety.
