In China, a saying goes, "Women hold up half the sky."
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the landmark Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, which produced the historic Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. To build on that legacy, Beijing has now hosted the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women, focusing on the next steps for advancing women's development worldwide.
CGTN Digital reporter Wu You brings you inside the meeting, where leaders, ministers and UN officials gathered in the Chinese capital. Here, she asks about their assessments and insights into the plenary discussions and women's all-around development globally.
