Forty-five global CEOs from 17 countries gathered in Shanghai on Sunday for the annual meeting of the International Business Leaders' Council for the Mayor of Shanghai, or IBLAC. Established in 1989, the council has expanded over the years and now serves as a think tank for the city's development. This year, the theme is "Openness, Innovation and Inclusiveness – Shanghai's Development Strategy Toward 2030." Global CEOs advised the city mayor during the meeting and also praised the role of the mechanism and the city's openness. CGTN spoke to some of the business leaders, who vowed to continue investing in China.
