Two trains collided near Jablonov nad Turnou in eastern Slovakia on October 13, injuring at least 20 people, according to emergency services. Footage showed derailed carriages and rescue crews using helicopters and ambulances to treat the injured. Authorities said about 80 passengers were on board, and the cause of the crash near a tunnel west of Košice is under investigation.
