Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday met with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, who is in Beijing for the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women. Xi said the traditional friendship between China and Sri Lanka has a long history. He added both sides will continue to work together to carry forward their traditional friendship, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, better benefit both peoples, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for humanity.
