Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Sylvanie Burton, president of the Commonwealth of Dominica, in Beijing on Tuesday. Burton was in China to attend the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women. President Xi said Dominica is a good friend and partner of China. He noted that since the establishment of diplomatic ties more than 20 years ago, exchanges and cooperation have flourished, and the friendship between the two peoples has grown ever deeper, setting a fine example of friendly cooperation between countries with different social systems and of different sizes.
